Adults involved in Sunday School small groups are an integral part of the community of First Baptist Church of Memphis, helping people make connections and build relationships.
They are comprised of people with similar ages, family lifestyles, interests in Bible study, missions and fellowship. These groups do more than just meet for Bible study and worship, they support and help First Baptist Church better serve our community.
Connect 4
A group composed of young families, singles, and young professionals.
Women of Faith
Mixed ages and backgrounds of women growing deeper with God through Bible study, sharing, discussion and activities.
Religion 101
A diverse and inclusive group of adults of all ages who appreciate a non-traditional approach to Bible study. We emphasize class dialogue, including a wide variety of curriculum and thinking outside the box.
First Friends
As faithful servants dedicated to the ministry of Jesus Christ, we offer spiritual growth through Bible study and fellowship to all those seeking knowledge of God.
Senior Adults
First Baptist has a vibrant and diverse senior adult group. They meet on Sunday morning for Bible study. The Baptist Women Group who learns more and supports mission work at home and abroad meet in the spring and fall. We also have a small group that meets each week for fellowship and games.
Radio Bible Class
A class based on the lecture format as the Bible study is broadcast to the Mid-South at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday on ESPN 680 AM/ESPN 92.9 FM.
