Maundy Thursday Service

Maundy Thursday is the first of the three days of solemn remembrance of the events leading up to and immediately following the crucifixion of Jesus. The English word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, which means “commandment.” As recorded in John’s gospel, on his last night before his betrayal and arrest, Jesus washed the feet of his disciples and then gave them a new commandment to love one another as he had loved them (John 13:34). Noonday Service of the Cross

Join us for this noonday service in the Chapel featuring Rev. Dr. Randy Hyde. Our sister congregations, Greater Lewis Street and Lifeline to a Dying World Congregation will join us for worship. The service will be about 45-minutes so that you can get back to work. Lunch will be served in the Fellowship Hall following worship.

Flower Cross

On Holy Saturday we gather outside in front of the church to cover the cross in flowers in preparation for Easter. This tradition is close to many of our hearts and is a wonderful time of fellowship together as we anticipate Easter.
