Palm Sunday, April 10:
For our Palm Sunday worship, Pastor Kat will preach on John 12:12-19. Our children will process into worship with palm branches. Following worship, all are welcome on the front lawn for a time of fellowship and our annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Maundy Thursday, April 14:
On Maundy Thursday we will gather at Kingsway Christian Church at 7 pm. We will reflect on the last supper and the way to the cross.
Good Friday, April 15:
We have extended an invitation to our sister churches, Greater Lewis Street Missionary Baptist Church and Lifeline to a Dying World Congregation to worship with us on Good Friday. We will gather in the Sanctuary at noon and end around the cross on the front lawn. A salad bar lunch will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
Pastor Kat will speak at Lindenwood Christian’s The Seven Last Words of Jesus at 6 pm.
Flower Cross, April 16:
On Holy Saturday, we will gather at 5:30 pm to cover the cross in flowers for Easter. This tradition is close to many of our
hearts and is a wonderful time of fellowship together as we anticipate Easter. This is a very meaningful symbol of life, hope, and transformation at the corner of Poplar and Parkway—both for our church family and for our community.
Easter, April 17:
Alleluia! Christ is risen! We will gather to celebrate Jesus’s resurrection.
Worship begins at 11 am.
