In these unprecedented times – unprecedented, at least, for most of us – we want to be a good and positive example to our community. How do we do that? We do it best by following the dictates of our city’s leadership. We shelter in place and we restrict our movements in an effort to mitigate, as much as possible, the impact of the COVID-19 virus.

For that reason, these last few weeks several people from our congregation have gathered on Sunday mornings to lead worship for our live radio broadcasts. That continues through this Easter Sunday. However, we are being told these next few weeks may be the most crucial in terms of the number of Coronavirus cases. Following this Easter Sunday, we feel it is time for us to change our method of operation until this crisis wanes. Here is what we plan to do…

Until further notice, the Sunday morning radio broadcasts will be composed of a scripture reading and sermon, based on Pastor Randy’s continued series, What Jesus Said. These sermons will appear in real-time – that is, Sundays at 11:00 – and in video format, on Facebook Live, on the church’s Facebook page. In addition, the sermons will be posted on our church’s website at www.fbcmemphis.org.

If you have any questions, please call the church office and leave us a voicemail, or email us.
