Our Lenten Journey starts with ashes . . .
Join us for Ash Wednesday Service in the Chapel, Wednesday, March 6 at 6:15 pm
Ash Wednesday is intended to be a bold confrontation with death intended to set in motion a reconsideration of the meaning of life and death—apart from Christ and in Christ.
Ashes, the sign of death, are put on the forehead in the shape of a cross reminding us that though we may die we can die in Christ; the one who conquers death. Ash Wednesday opens the season of Lent, a season of fasting and prayer.
