First Baptist Memphis is a Midtown congregation that seeks to follow Christ by practicing hospitality, community, dialogue, and service.

In-Person Worship suspended, FBC moves back to Phase One

It has been confirmed by the Re-Opening Task Force and approved by the Deacons that FBC will move back to Phase One, which is closing our sanctuary to the congregation.  The small worship group will still meet in the sanctuary and conduct services to be broadcast live on the radio and live-streamed.

This is a result of Shelby County surpassing the “tripwires” that had been set previously by the Task Force and Deacons when the 7-day average of new cases per day surpassed 525.  This average number was reached over the weekend and continues to rise.

Please be in prayer for our church, the community, and the entire world as we look to the future when we can come together and worship our Lord.

We will continue to broadcast our worship service on the radio, Sundays at 11 am on ESPN 680 AM or ESPN 92.9 FM. If you are outside our listening area, or do not have a radio but have access to a computer, you can listen by means of the station’s website.

You can watch our worship service at 11 am Sundays on our Facebook page (live) or our YouTube channel. Learn more here.
