First Baptist Memphis is a Midtown congregation that seeks to follow Christ by practicing hospitality, community, dialogue, and service.

Update from the Re-opening Task Force:

The re-opening task force and the deacons have met and approved new guidelines regarding facemasks and other procedures. Per the policy of FBC, masks must be warn over the mouth and nose while entering and exiting the Sanctuary and moving throughout the building. In accordance with CDC recommendations, masks will not be required while seated in the sanctuary if you are fully vaccinated. Thank you.

The Sanctuary Ensemble, performing during worship services, has expanded to eight singers. Our Sanctuary and Welcome Center will continue to be sanitized each Saturday to ensure it is safe for everyone to attend services on Sunday.

The senior adult Sunday School Class returned to in-person meeting in April.  Several other classes have been making plans to return to in-person meeting beginning sometime in June.

We appreciate everyone’s faithfulness and grace as we navigate through the pandemic as safely as possible.

We will also have the service live-streamed at 11 am Sundays on the church’s Facebook page. You may view it at a later time on the church’s YouTube channel. You can also listen to the service live on the radio Sundays at 11 am on ESPN 92.9 FM or ESPN 680 AM.

Thank you for your continued faithfulness.
