How Do I Get Here?
First Baptist Church of Memphis is located at the corner of Poplar Ave. and E. Parkway (200 E Parkway N, Memphis TN 38112) Google Maps Directions to the church.
Where Do I Park?
we have some parking off of East Parkway, and on the North side of our
building, our primary lot is located behind the church, off of
Crestmere. We encourage you to park here. Here we have reserved spaces
near our main entrance and the entrance to the fellowship hall, which
are points of entry on Sunday and Wednesday respectfully.
Where Do I Enter?
Sundays, we encourage you to enter at our main entrance marked by the
large porte cochere in the back of our building. There are visitor
parking spaces reserved near this entrance. Any of the three doors
under the large porte cochere will lead you to our welcome center. From
there we will be happy to help you find your way to a Bible Study Class
(at 9:30), to the Sanctuary for Worship (at 11:00), or to the chapel
for Modern Vespers (at 6 PM).
On Wednesdays, we encourage you to enter at our fellowship hall
entrance. You will find this entrance in the back of the building just
to the left of our main entrance. There is visitor parking available
nearby. Just inside the doors of this entrance, you will find greeters
who will be happy to direct you from there. (We offer a meal from 5:00
to 6:15. All are welcome. After the meal, children have missions, the
youth meet as a group, and adults enjoy Bible study or other programming
options. Many are not able to participate in the full schedule. Some
come for the meal and not the groups to follow. Others cannot make it
in time to eat and just join us for the groups. Either is fine. We
encourage you to come when you can and stay as long as you can.)
Is Childcare Available?

three to seven sit with their parents at the beginning of worship and
are invited to go as a group to Children’s Church as a group during one
of the hymns, though some remain with their parents in the worship

instruments, soloists, vocal ensembles and choir. As we celebrate the
different seasons of the Christian year, the pastor usually preaches
from one of the lectionary texts for the day.
What Should I Wear?
Casual is the most prominent style, though many families still come in
their “Sunday best.” You should wear whatever is comfortable for you,
knowing that the church is more concerned with “why you’re there,” than
“what you wear.”
